Overcast skies were welcomed but the July 4th heat was tough for the runners and the cheering crowds who begged for shade. Mattapoisett resident Kimberly Thomas designed t-shirts to sell for Haiti, and made them to be unique and special just like the Haitian children and the American children who wear them.
