The retired bog acreage is slowly returning to meadows and woodlands. But for now cranberries continue to grow giving the do-it-yourself harvester a chance to enjoy nature’s bounty. Little fingers sticky with glue flattened out cotton balls and fastened them to prefabricated Styrofoam snowperson shapes, and then glued on the trimmings under the guidance of caregivers.
