Frozen Princesses445 viewsOn December 21, two princesses visited the Mattapoisett Public Library to read stories and sing songs from the Disney film Frozen. Princesses Elsa and Anna beguiled the children as well as their parents in an hour-long performance culminating in hugs and a photo session. Santa Arrives444 viewsMattapoisett held its annual holiday celebration and tree lighting on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Shipyard Park. The rain couldn't dampen holiday spirits as visitors enjoyed delicious food and listened to Christmas music performed by the Showstoppers. Children made their own ornaments and hung them on the Christmas tree. They also danced with Rudolph and Frosty and shared their Christmas wishes with Santa Claus. Photo by Felix Perez.

Heritage Days 2011444 viewsThe Fairhaven Village Militia made their annual encampment along the Mattapoisett River on August 6, 2011, as a part of Heritage Days. The Militia demonstrated 18th century living, made beef stew, completed drills, and talked about the dentistry methods of that time period.
