Brad Hathaway585 viewsIt took 32 years, but on October 3 Mattapoisett resident Brad Hathaway completed his “Walk around the World” along Aucoot Road, accompanied by well over 100 friends and supporters of his mission refocused some years ago from what had begun as a fitness prescription to a fundraising effort for the Mattapoisett Land Trust. Hathaway, 88, is a co-founder of the MLT and has dedicated his life toward preserving and protecting lands that his ancestors first came upon hundreds of years ago.

This years race had more runners than ever, despite the wind and cold temperatures. Baby Gift Baskets584 viewsThe Bay Club ladies lunch together, and they also make baby gift baskets for newborns born with an opioid addiction. On Friday, 8/24, the lunch bunch presented baskets of baby essentials to Southcoast Health so these babies can bring belongings of their very own with them from the hospital to their foster homes.
