After his father, Kenny Pacheco, started the tradition of decorating the town tree with the Village Signs bucket truck several years ago, his son Todd is keeping the tradition alive on November 29, 2011. Family Fun Festival 621 viewsFamilies came out in record numbers to enjoy the 4th Annual Fall Free Family Fun Festival sponsored by the Mattapoisett’s Lion Club on October 19 held at Shipyard Park. Bruce Rocha of the club estimated attendance at over 400. Kids and adults alike enjoyed free face painting, bowling with pumpkins, a corn hole toss, snacks, hayrides to Ned’s Point and, yes, free pumpkins to take home.
