Students Sowing Seeds783 viewsSecond graders at Rochester Memorial School received a grant of 200 bulbs from the North American Flowerbulb Wholesales Association, and small groups of students set the 178 bulbs around the school’s sign and on either side of the front door earlier this week. ORR Gets Gold781 viewsOn Sunday, April 1, the Old Rochester Regional Junior High School Band received a gold medal at the Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association (MICCA) Music Festival at Foxboro High School. Seven schools throughout the state hosted this weekend-long festival. This is the first gold medal for the 78-member junior high school ensemble. The concert band will be performing at Symphony Hall on Saturday, April 21 at 10:30 am and admission is free.
