ORR Gets Gold774 viewsOn Sunday, April 1, the Old Rochester Regional Junior High School Band received a gold medal at the Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association (MICCA) Music Festival at Foxboro High School. Seven schools throughout the state hosted this weekend-long festival. This is the first gold medal for the 78-member junior high school ensemble. The concert band will be performing at Symphony Hall on Saturday, April 21 at 10:30 am and admission is free.

Among the items the girls have been sending are basic toiletries, cards, books, puzzles and nonperishable food items. The most recent packages included Valentine’s Day cards and Girl Scout cookies.
