ORR Walk For Hunger783 viewsThe Old Rochester Regional High School Youth Council joined forces with the Church of the Pines and the Marion Congregational Church youth groups for the Walk for Hunger in Boston on May 6. This is the third year the group has walked as the Hunger Commission of Southeastern Massachusetts team. Hunger Walkers780 viewsTeens from Old Rochester Regional High School recently participated in Project Bread’s 30th annual Walk for Hunger. Some 43,000 walkers took part in the event that raised a record-breaking $3.3 million. The funds are used to feed hungry people at food pantries, soup kitchens, food banks, and food salvage programs across the state.
