Think Pink Day417 viewsFourth graders at Sippican School under the guidance of teachers, Nicole Radke, Kim Souza, MJ Menezes and Courtney Sheehan, organized the school’s first ever ‘Think Pink Day’ on Friday, October 25th. The purpose of this spirit-wear fundraiser was to build community support and recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Sippican School Goes Wild417 viewsThe fourth-grade students at the Sippican School treated classmates and family members to a virtual zoo on the morning of June 5. Students chose an animal, did their own online research, created display boards, and donned costumes to bring their animals to life. The zoo continues on Friday, June 6 from 9:00-10:00 am. Suites and Sweets417 viewsThere was some astounding talent at Old Rochester Regional on October 16 during its “Suites and Sweets” night, a coffeehouse-style event where students sang or played their musical instruments to the music of their choice. Hairspray at Tabor Academy417 viewsHairspray, the musical, is coming to Tabor Academy’s Fireman Center for the Performing Arts in Hoyt Hall in Marion. Hannah Rolighed stars as lead role Tracey Turnblad who transforms her life through dance and determination, while also transforming her hometown of Baltimore by challenging segregation and racism.
