Annual Easter Hunt410 viewsOn Friday, April 2, 2010 Alden Court Nursing and Rehab Center hosted their Annual Easter Hunt, which brought in nearly 75 community children. The kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt hosted by the Easter Bunny and then a kids concert and interactive games hosted by local children's performer, Savannah the Rock Star. Marine Becket Kiernan410 viewsOn Friday, February 16, Class of 2017 ORR graduate and 18-year-old Marine Becket Kiernan was laid to rest at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. All of Old Rochester lined the side of Route 6 for a final farewell to Becket as Principal Mike Devoll stood solemnly as the procession passed beneath the giant U.S. flag suspended by two local ladder trucks. Disaster Drill409 viewsFairhaven Fire Department hosted a full-scale exercise to improve emergency response in the region. Mattapoisett, Rochester, Dartmouth, Freetown, Acushnet, and New Bedford all responded to a disaster that simulated an accident between a school bus and an oil truck at Livesey Park in Fairhaven.
