All of Old Rochester lined the side of Route 6 for a final farewell to Becket as Principal Mike Devoll stood solemnly as the procession passed beneath the giant U.S. flag suspended by two local ladder trucks. This year’s weather was a major improvement from last year’s soaking, but overall participation was down this year.
