This book, which was slated to be taught to Old Rochester Regional eighth graders but later pulled, elicited discussion among junior high parents, some who supported the school's decision to teach the book, some who thought it was too mature for their children.

Trinidad Orphanage Mission509 viewsEighteen ORR students and one Tabor student, along with their fathers, spent their April vacation working at an orphanage on the island of Trinidad. The group provided labor, materials, and good spirits to help paint the sleeping areas for the 35 children who live at the Christ Child Convalescence Home. “It was a very eye-opening experience,” said Ben Mattson, who went with his father, Wayne. “The kids were very excited to have us visit.
