Relay for Life480 viewsThe American Cancer Society held their Annual Relay for Life of the Tri-Towns from 6:00p.m. on Friday, June 12 until noon on Saturday June 13 at Old Rochester Regional High School's track. Habitat for Humanity480 viewsBuzzards Bay Area Habitat for Humanity recently held a Cape Cod Canal boat cruise fundraiser for their next build. The event was very well attended with lots of great food from local restaurants. The premier sponsor of the event was Pilgrim Bank. Habitat was able to raise $5,000 for their upcoming build.

Magic Memories479 viewsThe Showstoppers, the popular Mattapoisett-based singing troupe, just returned from a trip to Disney World in Orlando, FL, where they performed at the theme park as part of “Disney’s Magic Music Days” on August 5. The group performed at the Galaxy Palace Theater located in Tomorrowland inside Disney’s Magic Kingdom. In addition to the stage performance, they also participated in Disney’s Show Choir Magic — A Performing Arts Workshop in a backstage rehearsal hall in Epcot Center. (Photo by Kelly Zucco).

Bikes, Bikes, Bikes!479 viewsThe Third Annual Pan Mass Challenge Kids Tri-Town Ride attracted several hundred young bicyclist to the ORR campus on Saturday morning, May 16, for a bike rally to help defeat cancer. Proceeds from the event will go to several charities in the state such as the Jimmy Fund and Dana- Farber Cancer Institute to assist in cancer research.
