Disaster Drill408 viewsFairhaven Fire Department hosted a full-scale exercise to improve emergency response in the region. Mattapoisett, Rochester, Dartmouth, Freetown, Acushnet, and New Bedford all responded to a disaster that simulated an accident between a school bus and an oil truck at Livesey Park in Fairhaven. Tri-Town Relay for Life408 viewsHundreds of residents attended the Tri-Town Relay for Life last weekend, raising nearly $40,000 for the American Cancer Society. Con Spirito408 viewsThe Tri-County Symphonic Band, under the direction of Philip Sanborn, performed its Con Spirito program on Sunday February 2 at the Old Rochester Regional High School auditorium. In its 52nd concert season, the band welcomed guest French Horn Instrumentalist Roger Haber, and recognized Trumpeter Edith Pliskin on her 94th birthday coming up next week.
