Troop Leader Dennis McLaughlin and several other troop parents oversaw the installation, which was Patrick’s Eagle Scout project. The Sunfish racks will hold a total of four Sunfish and their gear. This year’s weather was a major improvement from last year’s soaking, but overall participation was down this year. Mattapoisett Fire Department Association Chowder Competition 411 viewsOn September 8, the 5th annual Mattapoisett Fire Department Association Chowder Competition featured a variety of flavorful chowders from restaurants and public safety facilities from Fairhaven, Rochester, and Mattapoisett.
