Tour de Crème454 viewsThis Sunday was the third annual Tour de Crème, a fundraising partnership between the Mattapoisett Land Trust and the Friends of the Mattapoisett Bike Path. The ride started at the Town Beach and wound its way through the Southcoast, making stops at the various creameries along the way. BBC Watershed Ride454 viewsThe Buzzards Bay Coalition’s 13th annual Watershed Ride pedaled its way through the Tri-Town on Sunday, October 6, taking participants on three different courses that wound through the land that surrounds Buzzards Bay the way gold enfolds a pearl. Amy Hartley-Matteson of Mattapoisett and Katherine Hartley of Rochester (2:11:14) won the women’s division for the third consecutive time – the second time they’ve three-peated. Tri-Town Relay for Life453 viewsHundreds of residents attended the Tri-Town Relay for Life last weekend, raising nearly $40,000 for the American Cancer Society.
