Friend's Garden427 viewsOn October 9, 2009, the garden at Friends Academy surpassed the 2000-pound of harvested vegetables benchmark, and then some. Harvesting a variety of greens plus sixteen pounds of carrots and eight pounds of winter squash, students bundled up 71.3 pounds of vegetables for their weekly delivery to the Food Pantry at Grace Episcopal Church.
