Mattapoisett to the Rescue867 viewsThe Mattapoisett Fire Department recently acquired this new 2006 Rescue Truck which was first put into service just last Thursday, February 15, according to Fire Chief Ronald Scott. The new $50,000 Ford vehicle, which was approved under Article 5 of the 2006 Annual Town Meeting warrant as part of the town’s new Capital Equipment Plan, will allow rescue workers to carry all the latest state-of-the-art equipment to emergency scenes.
