Eastover Donkey905 viewsIt’s been ‘donkey’s ears’ since we’ve featured a furry friend from Eastover Farm on our cover! This donkey was out Saturday afternoon sniffing around patches of ground that weren’t still covered with snow. It strolled over to say hello until the ‘click’ of the camera shutter spooked it into another direction towards another snow-free patch of ground. Photo by Jean Perry February 28, 2019 edition

Sunrise at Ned's Point898 viewsSunrises at Ned's Point are a Mattapoisett treasure, and resident Steve Chicco is one of the lucky ones who can rise early enough to witness them firsthand. For the rest of us, we can be grateful that Chicco captures moments such as this one with a flock of gulls emerging from a glorious morning sky with his camera and shares them with us.
