DARE Returns1397 viewsRochester Patrolman and DARE Officer Kevin Flynn instructs one of four sixth grade classes at Rochester Memorial School about the dangers and health risks associated with smoking cigarettes. Officer Flynn and Rochester Police Chief Paul Magee recently pushed to revive the DARE Program at the town’s elementary school, despite cutbacks in state aid. Yoga for Youth1384 viewsStudents at Sippican School in Marion enjoy the benefits of yoga classes which have been sponsored at the school by the non-profit Yoga Kids, Inc. for the past six years. Teachers have noted marked improvement in students who take yoga classes as it helps them to better concentrate in class.
