Fun at the Fair681 viewsIt was fun in the August sun at the 2009 Rochester Country Fair. Plumb Corner was transformed into the ultimate fairground, with lots of craft and food vendors, and fun activities. Fair-goers enjoyed a scarecrow contest, a tractor-pull, a frog jumping contest, a children's parade, and so much more. Buck-Chuck and The Wanderer Aardvark were there! Photo by Anne O'Brien-Kakley.

Turtle Power678 viewsHello, there. I’m a handsome, male painted turtle from Rochester currently making my habitat at Doggett’s Brook. I enjoy sunning myself on rocks and logs and swimming in the slow-moving water, and eating insects, fish, and plants. I don’t have any teeth, but I have cool stripes and razor-sharp claws. I’m looking for a female who loves basking in the warm sun, mating, and wants lots of kids. April 4, 2019 edition
