The event was the brainchild of Rochester resident Jillian Marie Jensen, Miss Massachusetts Teen America 2007, and was a showcase for talented young performers who wished to display their singing abilities in an American Idol-style setting. Aquaculture Rules 821 viewsAt the end of the Walega-Livingstone Preserve in Mattapoisett, Brandt Island Cove is a serene view, and home to an existing aquaculture operation. At a November 1 meeting, the Mattapoisett Board of Selectmen held a public hearing for a final reading of the Aquaculture Rules and Regulations and Waterfront Management Plan.
