Mattapoisett Land Trust Vice President Peter Davies told the Wanderer that the Mattapoisett Museum and the MLT have jointly organized the event for five nonconsecutive years. The harbor area has long been home to live music, and the Mattapoisett Town Band is comprised of more than 30 musicians from diverse backgrounds covering a wide spectrum of ages from students to senior citizens.
