Catch the spirit! 628 viewsIt was some tween fun at Old Rochester Regional High School on Sunday, September 5, 2010 when the schools varsity cheerleaders provided a cheer clinic fundraiser for young, aspiring cheerleaders. These younger cheerleaders will join the varsity squad at the ORR/Nauset football game on September 11, at the ORR David Hagen field at 7:00 pm. Old Rochester Little League626 viewsThe Old Rochester Little League celebrated its Opening Day of the 2016 season on Saturday, April 30 at Gifford Park off Dexter Road in Rochester. The young athletes took part in the traditional Opening Day parade, which began at Dexter Park and concluded at Dexter Field. Tabor Academy Athletes624 viewsEighteen Tabor Academy athletes from the Class of 2016 will be off to compete in NCAA Division I sports once they graduate from the School by the Sea. This is a record-breaking year, up from seven students last year. Celebrating their success, many of the student athletes took part in a ceremony to officially sign their letters of intent with proud friends and families on hand to cheer them on.

Championship Tournament624 viewsThree Tri-Town skaters, (left to right) Carson Spencer, Brendan Burke, and Sam Newton, were part of the Cape Cod Canal Sharks hockey team that participated in the State Championship Tournament in Framingham this past weekend. Over 70 Peewee Tier IV teams from across the state competed for entry into the tournament, but only 12 teams made it to this final tourney. Hosted by the Mattapoisett Lions Club every year, the triathlon takes racers .25 miles from the shore of Town Beach and back, 10 miles bicycling through Mattapoisett, and 5K through the village around Ned’s Point Lighthouse.
