Christmas Swim402 viewsKate Butler was last to arrive but last one out of the water after two dozen people braved the cold, raw elements of the 2021 Christmas morning swim held December 25 at Mattapoisett Town Beach. The event was held for the benefit of Helping Hands and Hooves, a program run by Julie Craig and Debbie Dyson that offers experiences, especially horseback riding, to people with cognitive challenges who have aged out of the many children's programs. Caroling439 viewsOn December 17, members of St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church in Marion went caroling. After warming up with hot cider and cookies, we walked along Joanne Drive, stopping to sing Christmas carols for many of the residents. We were greeted with smiles when people opened their front doors to hear us sing. Photos courtesy of Tanya AmbrosiDec 22, 2021
