Christmas Day Plunge401 viewsAt 94, Bob Humphrey was the elder statesman participating in the Christmas Day plunge held at Mattapoisett Town Beach, which including 47 swimmers and raised $2,595 in donations for the benefit of Helping Hands & Hooves. While December 25 was unseasonably mild, the water temperature in the harbor was still chilly as the effort inspired camaraderie among participating friends and couples. Photos by Mick Colageo
