Mattapoisett Library255 viewsOn August 7, the Mattapoisett Library hosted the New England Coastal Wildlife Alliance. Interns from the Wareham-based agency gave a hands-on talk to small children on local sea turtles. NECWA studies local marine life, collecting data for a variety of agencies. Some 60 kids from the Tri-Town area and beyond learned about turtle eating and nesting habits and made crafts depicting turtles. Photos by Marilou Newell
