At the Kick-Off, Patti O’Hara, MSP Program Coordinator for Covanta/SEMASS in West Wareham (right) presented a sponsorship check for $5,000 to event Co-Chairman Bonnie Davidson (left). This is the first sponsorship secured for the tri-town event.

Among the items the girls have been sending are basic toiletries, cards, books, puzzles and nonperishable food items. The most recent packages included Valentine’s Day cards and Girl Scout cookies. During the trip, the students visited the Hispanic Society Museum to view art and archeological artifacts from various Spanish artists and cultures.
