Church Donates Books828 viewsThe steering committee of the Mattapoisett Congregational Church recently made a donation of books to first graders of the Hayden-McFadden Elementary School in New Bedford. The members of the church sought to give the gift of a book to each child in a single class at the north-side New Bedford school in an effort to promote the school’s literacy program.
