Mail Man

Bernard Talty of Mattapoisett poses behind the new mailboxes that have been installed on the corner of North Street and Edgewood Lane that he helped design. The new mailboxes have eliminated the blind spots caused by the prior mailboxes so those pulling out of Edgewood can now safety exit onto North Street. The new mailboxes were installed as part of a neighborhood effort with assistance from the Mattapoisett Highway Department and local Post Office. (Photo courtesy of Ann Lynch).
