Thursday, October 13 was the Annual Mattapoisett Fire Department Open House at the fire station. During open house, families can tour the station, enjoy refreshments, make crafts, try out the fire hose, and watch demonstrations such as the Jaws of Life extraction and the much-anticipated fire extinguishing event.
