Mattapoisett Firefighters Association Chowder Competition

The 2nd Annual Mattapoisett Firefighters Association Chowder Competition was well attended this Sunday, September 18, behind the Knights of Columbus on Route 6. Two categories – professional establishment and public safety – competed for best judged chowder and people’s choice. The Rochester Facilities Department took first place, with the Rochester Firefighter’s Association taking second and the People’s Choice award. Photos by Jean Perry
