Trebuchet Time

Senior Carl Dias and freshman Callum McLaughlin from Old Rochester Regional High School’s engineering class constructed this large working trebuchet with guidance from their teacher Tom Norris. The trebuchet was tested in the football fields with gallons of water, a rock and a watermelon. Delightful throwing and smashing ensued. Photo by Anne O’Brien-Kakley.
