High Tea and Gossip

Lucy Bly and Katherine Gaudet played the roles of two gossiping ship captain’s wives for the Mattapoisett Museum and Carriage House’s “High Tea and Historic Gossip” session held on Sunday, March 11. The creative program was an informal way of discussing historic events and tidbits of local “gossip” from the 1860s while being treated to a lively performance from the role-playing characters.
