A severely deteriorated seawall at Island Wharf is one of four major projects facing the Marion Harbormaster Department as it prepares grant applications and an operating budget for Fiscal Year 2024. Also in dire need of funding is decaying infrastructure at Old Landing, the town’s 17-year-old patrol boat and the planned Marine Center that in two years has become $1,000,000 more expensive due to inflated construction costs.
