Frank McNamee340 viewsFrank McNamee gave a talk on May 1 to the Marion Council on Aging entitled, “What’s in Your Attic?” at the Marion Police Station. He discussed many of the important objects that he discovered in attics of local homes and how much they were worth. He also appraised objects brought in by Council on Aging members as well as discussing the values of objects he brought in from his antiques shop. The speech was taped by the local cable station, ORCTV, channel 9 for Comcast, channel 36 for Verizon subscribers.

Tri-Town Relay for Life340 viewsHundreds of residents attended the Tri-Town Relay for Life last weekend, raising nearly $40,000 for the American Cancer Society. Residents watched the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department’s Ken Ballinger demonstrate K-9 tactics, got a feel for SWAT, EMS, and Fire vehicles; and enjoyed pizza and ice cream.
