Rochester Road Race 347 viewsThe Rochester Road Race saw 348 runners finish on August 13, 2011. Although there were 20 fewer runners from last year, the event still managed to raise 453 pounds of food for Damien's Pantry in Wareham. The men's winner was Julien De Marian of Paris, France, with a time of 15:57, and the women's winner was Jennifer Almeida of Acushnet with a time of 20:19.

Rochester turned 340 347 viewsHey, hey, it’s your birthday, Rochester! Rochester turned 340 years old on June 4, and the third grade class from RMS was invited to celebrate with some cake and ice cream at the senior center on Tuesday. Students started the day with a tour around historic Rochester before breaking for lunch and sharing a large birthday cake with seniors.
