Car Show52 viewsThe September 5 car show and sock hop held at the Rochester Council on Aging found the grounds filled with more than 85 vintage cars and several hundred spectators. The fundraiser also featured raffles, along with hamburgers and hot dogs cooked up by the Rochester Fire Department. Handling the root beer float station were members of the Police Department. On hand were members of the Plymouth County TRIAD, a nationally recognized program linking seniors with local safety strategies and agencies.

Community Block Party51 viewsIt was a party for all ages when the Rochester Council on Aging hosted a Community Block Party on June 22. Local 4-H clubs brought animals, while Rochester's Boy Scout and Cub Scout troops provided games that included a soft-ax throw and soft archery-challenge games.
