Leaving Portland, Oregon on May 2, the two childhood friends arrived at Buteyne’s parents’ driveway about a month earlier than anticipated, greeted by family, friends, confetti, cookies, and of course, hugs. Car Show Dreams322 views108 cars attended the “A Wish Come True” car show on October 11, 2009 at Rochester’s Plumb Corner. Each vehicle owner paid to attend the show, and the proceeds went to the organization, which works to grant wishes to children ages 3-18 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening condition. Rochester Road Race 322 viewsThe Rochester Road Race saw 348 runners finish on August 13, 2011. Although there were 20 fewer runners from last year, the event still managed to raise 453 pounds of food for Damien's Pantry in Wareham. The men's winner was Julien De Marian of Paris, France, with a time of 15:57, and the women's winner was Jennifer Almeida of Acushnet with a time of 20:19.
