Waterman school, which was in the building that now houses the Rochester Fire Department, was the forerunner to RMS during the first half of the Twentieth Century. Rochester Road Race 337 viewsThe Rochester Road Race saw 348 runners finish on August 13, 2011. Although there were 20 fewer runners from last year, the event still managed to raise 453 pounds of food for Damien's Pantry in Wareham. The men's winner was Julien De Marian of Paris, France, with a time of 15:57, and the women's winner was Jennifer Almeida of Acushnet with a time of 20:19.
