Marion to Bermuda333 viewsThe LILLA broke the record
for the Marion to Bermuda Yacht Race on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 11:30 am EST. The yacht, skippered and navigated by Mattapoisett residents Simon and Nancy De Pietro respectively, arrived in Bermuda at just under 69 hours. Other mates on the LILLA were: Watch Skipper: Jake Martin, Helmsmen: Ian Martin and D. The pouring rain didn’t stop Santa from spreading candy and holiday cheer to the crowd of exciting children.
