Marion Natural History Museum99 viewsOn November 30, the Marion Natural History Museum's after-school group had a chance to learn about the different types of trees in our area and to look at some equipment used by foresters to help protect our trees. Bird Island99 viewsMany thanks to Marion Harbormaster Isaac Perry and the whole harbormaster crew for giving us the experience of a lifetime exploring the nesting habitats of the Common and Roseate Terns when they're in our area. Bird Island has had an extensive amount of work done to promote successful nesting habitat for these species, and it looks like it has paid off.
