Library Henna285 viewsThe Elizabeth Taber Library hosted a henna tattoo program for teens, with each guest receiving their own henna creation by professional henna artist Heather Cault-Nulton. The art of henna dates back thousands of years and has recently grown in popularity. Marion Veterans Day Observance285 viewsDuring the Marion Veterans Day observance on Friday morning, the townspeople of Marion expressed a heartfelt thank you to the Benjamin D. Cushing VFW Post 2425, which in return gave a moving farewell as it disbanded this year and donated the VFW building to the town. This two-act drama (dramedy) is about a retired couple enjoying a day at the beach when they meet a “sea creature” couple. Director Kate Fishman has cast Camerin Bennett as Sarah, Scott Fishman as Charlie, Tristan McCann as Leslie, and Susan Sullivan as Nancy. “This is a strong cast”, said Fishman, “and I predict a lively and engaging production.” Photo courtesy
