The Sippican Lands Trust Summer Yoga Series is underway, with adult yoga on select Saturdays at 9:00 am and kids yoga at 10:00. The two other dates scheduled are July 5 and August 16. Taber Fall Lapsit Program231 viewsThe Fall Lapsit Program for babies kicked off on October 7 at the Taber Library in Marion. Babies and their caregivers enjoy 20 minutes of stories and 20 minutes of social time. Children’s Librarian Rosemary Gray delighted five happy babies with some peekaboo, short stories such as Where is Baby’ Belly Button, and songs like the Itsy Bitsy Spider. During the program the students had a chance to view videos of hatchling turtles, learn a little about sea turtle biology, and handle some live terrapins.
