Hundreds upon hundreds of little ghosts, ghouls, and goblins took to the streets to show off their costumes and follow it up with some treats (no tricks) and refreshments at the Marion Music Hall, sponsored by those very kind witches at the Marion Art Center. Seascape285 viewsEdward Albee’s “Seascape”, winner of the 1975 Pulitzer Prize, will open at the Marion Art Center on Thursday, August 9, and run through August 18. This two-act drama (dramedy) is about a retired couple enjoying a day at the beach when they meet a “sea creature” couple. Director Kate Fishman has cast Camerin Bennett as Sarah, Scott Fishman as Charlie, Tristan McCann as Leslie, and Susan Sullivan as Nancy. “This is a strong cast”, said Fishman, “and I predict a lively and engaging production.” Photo courtesy

Mushroom Walk285 viewsThe Sippican Lands Trust and the Boston Mycological Club took a large group out on Sunday for a mushroom walk at the White Eagle Property in Marion. Sippican House Tour284 viewsThe Sippican Women's Club hosted their 25th Holiday House Tour on Saturday, December 10, 2011. The theme this year – "A Tropical Christmas" – brought a splash of color to the annual event, along with sand, Tiki bars, and flamingo motifs. Antique Car Show284 viewsOn Saturday, July 21, the Marion Recreation Department held their second annual Antique Car Show on the lawn at Silvershell Beach.
