Celebrity sightings included Santa Claus on his carriage, the Grinch, the Nutcracker, and Sparky the Fire Dog. The Showstoppers and The Sippican School Marching Band lit up the afternoon until the tree lighting ceremony lit up the night, the finale of that starry-skied evening. There was a performance by the Toe Jam Puppet Band, a Birds of Prey demonstration, face painting, and a rock-climbing wall. Antique Car Show285 views It was a great turnout for the Agawam’s 3rd Annual Antique Car Show at Washburn Park in Marion on Saturday, August 29. Classic car entrants signed their antique automobiles up for a chance to win first, second, or third place in the show. The sponsoring group, Agawam Chapter No. 121 Order of the Eastern Star, uses the proceeds from the event to benefit various charities the group supports.
