5th Annual 5K Turkey Trot285 viewsThere were 31 registered runners for this year’s 5th Annual 5K Turkey Trot for Marion Recreation on Sunday, November 22. The course takes runners from Tabor Academy down Front Street through the village and back again to Tabor. Marion Christmas Stroll 285 viewsThe Marion Christmas Stroll is one of the quintessential holiday events in Tri-Town, with Santa making his grand entrance via boat and hopping aboard a horse-drawn carriage to ride through Marion village with some lucky kids who hop aboard with him. Marion Natural History Museum285 viewsDr. Michael Moore of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, using the museum's harpoon and baleen, introduced the Marion Natural History Museum's after-school group to a little of Marion's whaling history. Marion Veterans Day Observance285 viewsDuring the Marion Veterans Day observance on Friday morning, the townspeople of Marion expressed a heartfelt thank you to the Benjamin D. Cushing VFW Post 2425, which in return gave a moving farewell as it disbanded this year and donated the VFW building to the town.
