Choral Concert549 viewsMembers of the Sippican Choral Society will present their annual Spring Concert on Friday and Saturday evenings, April 25 and April 26 at Saint Gabriel’s Church, 124 Front Street in Marion. Tickets may be purchased at the Seaport Village Ice Cream and Coffee Shoppe in Mattapoisett, The Bookstall in Marion, and at Baker Books in North Dartmouth. A limited number of tickets will also be available at the door. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children ages 12 and under.

Marion Natural History Museum549 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum's afterschool group enjoyed learning about minerals and fossils with geologist Jim Pierson. The group also compared various artifacts such as relative sizes of Megaladon teeth versus White Shark, and took a look at many examples of fossils such as fish, leaves, and the tiny tracks of a trilobite.
