Marion Natural History Museum318 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum had a wonderful time netting seashore animals last week, including various crabs, pipefish, a large killifish, perch, roughly 500 pogies, and loads of shrimp. All over Marion, there were people in day-glo vests working with “Manducas”, long pincers made by Marion resident Eunice Manduca for picking up trash. Sippican House Tour317 viewsThe Sippican Women's Club hosted their 25th Holiday House Tour on Saturday, December 10, 2011. The theme this year – "A Tropical Christmas" – brought a splash of color to the annual event, along with sand, Tiki bars, and flamingo motifs. Nightmare at 13317 viewsThe Marion Recreation Committee hosted a Nightmare at 13 Atlantis Drive Haunted House Tour on Saturday October 27th. The fund raiser was originally scheduled to run for two nights and to include Sunday but was cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy.
