Cushing VFW Post 2425, which in return gave a moving farewell as it disbanded this year and donated the VFW building to the town. Marion Natural History Museum247 viewsOn Wednesday, March 29, the Marion Natural History Museum's afterschool program explored some online mapping programs. We located schools, forested lands, hospitals, and airports, as well as many ocean features and historic shipwrecks. Pinewood Derby246 viewsOn Saturday, March 2nd 2013, The Cubs Scout Pack 32 held a pinewood derby at the Community Hall of the Congregational Church in Marion. The results were 1st Lucas Marcolini, 2nd Brendan Hubbard, 3rd Nathaniel Bangs, and 4th Nate Robertson. All four move on to regional finals in New Bedford later this month. Other awards included, Best Theme to Connor Lavoie for his Batmobile, Best Design to David Strom for Kool Kone and Best Paint Job to Max Richins for Bulldog. Photos by Felix Perez
