‘The Secret’247 viewsThe Marion Art Center wrapped up the first session of Artstart with a production of ‘The Secret’ this Friday. The two-week program for children ages four to nine focuses on arts, crafts, music, theater and stories. Program director Nancy Sparklin said the children had great fun and all got along wonderfully. Stars & Stripes Forever Musical Revue247 viewsThe Marion Art Center staged the “Stars & Stripes Forever Musical Revue” last weekend to packed crowds. The rousing show mimicked a USO event, with the audience being entertained as the “troops.” The production featured the “Swanson Sisters from Sheboygan: Dixie, Trixie & Pixie,” (played by Caroline Blaise, Pam Breton, and Denise Bastos) and was hosted by the hilariously funny “Frankie B. Sharpe” (played by Eric Bosworth). The MAC theatre was set up cabaret style, and guests brought their own refreshments.
