‘Into Orbit’ Space Club387 views‘Into Orbit’ Space Club is currently running for the second year in a row. Students in grades 5 and 6 spend 12 weeks learning about robotics and coding, using First Lego League curriculum and EV3 robots, as well as participating in space-themed STEM challenges.

Gold Medal386 viewsThe Old Hammondtown School orchestra pulled off its fifth straight gold medal at the Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association competition. As a prize, the orchestra got to play at the Boston Symphony Hall on April 27. This was a bittersweet moment for the orchestra, as it will be the last year that they will enjoy the guidance of their music teachers, Stan Ellis and Jean West, who are both retiring this year.
